Newsflash

Bike Pure, the positive cycling campaign group, got terrific reinforcement to its mission this week.  The organisation joined forces with one of the most progressive, innovative manufactures in the cycle industry, Token Products.

TOKEN PRODUCTS is the only global cycle component manufacturer to have such an extensive product line as to offer a complete road racing bike made entirely of its own components.

This forward looking philosophy of Token meshed perfectly with Bike Pure ambitions for cycling, and will now work together through positive action to promote clean cycle sport.

Over 14,000 cyclists in 81 countries have joined the independent, non-profit organization Bike Pure.  Each cyclist from the Grand Tour riding professional to novice beginner displays the blue symbols of bike pure to show solidarity and trust for cycling’s heroes of the present and the future. Now supporters can sport a visible badge of their commitment: Token has produced free of charge a blue headset spacer which is the symbol of a rider who loves their sport and wishes to protect the health of future champions.  Among the young pros who have signed up to support Bike Pure and will race with the stem are Dan Martin and Cameron Meyer (Garmin-Slipstream), Kirsten Wild, Philip Deignan and Dan Fleeman (Cervélo Test Team) as well.  Notable British riders include Russell Downing (Candi-TV - Marshalls Pasta), Alex Dowsett (100% ME), Dan Lloyd (Cervélo), Lizzie Armitstead (Lotto) & Jo Rowsell (100% ME). Christoph Sauser and world champions Burry Stander and Rebecca Rush lead the call for a clean sport off road.

Riders signing up to the Bike Pure ‘Honour Code’ promise to race clean, without performance enhancing drugs, and bring in a new era of cycle sport.
It is an ethos, which has hit a chord with the global cycling community who want riders and performances they can trust.

(ALL BikePure’s income goes directly to supporting bike racing)
